Yeah, yeah. I stopped writing here over a year ago. Just had to write down a thought so it would leave me alone so I can work.

I was listening to NPR on the drive home yesterday and they were interviewing that dumb cunt Roxana Saberi. You may have heard of her, she was arrested and convicted in Iran for spying for the US. I was shocked and appalled to hear this woman slobbering all over herself about God and prayer. It started out with her telling how she had been coerced into making a confession but recanted it later because her "god" didn't want her to lie even if it meant she'd get her freedom faster. This caused me to grind my teeth.

Then she sent me into a full-blown rage complete with steering wheel pounding and high volume profanity. She said that once she was convicted she spent her time in her cell praying. She prayed, she said, more than she had ever prayed in her life. She seemed to attribute her current freedom to this prayer. Someone needs to grab this woman and shake her until her brain rattles back into its proper place (clearly it has become misaligned)!

It was not her pointless prayers to an imaginary god that got her released from prison. It was the efforts of her parents that freed her ass. They went to Iran and got one of the best lawyers in the country to represent her. They made a huge stink ahead of an election in Iran. They did everything humanly possible to get their daughter out of prison and the bitch gives the credit for her freedom to some imaginary deity!

It's insulting and demeaning to the efforts of her parents for her to think like this.

I haven't been posting stuff here for a long while.

I let it go back to a basic account this week.

That is all.

There seems to be something profoundly wrong with this. Is this a test case to see how citizens react to invasive unconstitutional violations of their rights? The fact that the news report frames it in a fluffy-bunnies "they are looking for a nasty murderer" way does not bode well either.

Oh, and if you cross the border your personal data belongs to the government.

Clockwise from upper left: Sweet Banana Peppers, Hatch Chile Peppers, Sweet Bell Peppers, Thai Dragon Peppers, Peter Peppers.

These Scarlet Runner beans are what I think the 'magic' beans from Jack and the Beanstalk might have looked like.

My wife says she took better pictures than me, I'll bet she doesn't have one of the above! Ha!

I'm sure this gives most architects huge boners just looking at all these acute angles. I think there is a lot of wasted space in the building and over all it is just plain ugly. But the AC works and the network hookups are super fast.

This little frog is living in my pepper plants.
It is smaller than my thumbnail.

We raised these from caterpillars...they were eating my parsley and rather than squish them we put them in a fish tank and fed them scraps.
